SPACE FOR HORSES CHAT: your favorite famous horse of all time???

i am really into racing so i would have to say GLENSIDE is the most intrestin one winning the grandnational with just one eye...or battleship winning it who was just 15hh and had a 17 year old jockey (bruce hobbs).
but also best mate and rooster booster both great horses sadly lost on the track.
another that i remember from a child was john whiticaks hicksted horse GAMMON who was well into his 20s! -
i like showjumping and i think of all time,i know hes dead but Milton is my fav.

What about Shergar - did you see his last race, several lengths ahead. Such a ghastly story, specially that it happened in Ireland, land of horses.

yerh there was a brilliant programe on last year about his kidnap and how they think they have recovered his skull.
he was a very handsome horse :( -

Has anyone seen the new equestrian "wall of fame" - Hyde Park - think 20 horses up and room for more.

It's way way way way better than this.There is a forum and rankings and buy horses on auctions and look after them and put in compettions. And rare stuff from the black market like making your horse immortal. and you can decorate your own profile like pictures.And you can e-mail an meet new people and and make your own e/c(equestrain center) and also...it's free. -
but this site is about real horses and horse owners.

there was a little french horse in show jumping called 'japaloupe' or something, think he was only fifteen hands, he used to compete against milton a lot, they were both great but couldnt be more different. he was really beautiful though...

for me its milton as im very into showjumping but of course all racers are googd horses so i feel betraying to any horse to decide

lorcarno is stunning, he has the same grandsire as my horse thats his little claim to fame! but i also think that teddy o'connor the 14.1hh chestnut pony who was on the olympic eventung team for the USA untill he sadly had to be put down, youtube him hes brilliant!!
