Ok, its really exciting hearing what everyone is or has been upto over the summer but can we get excited about the forthcoming winter too?

i don't know i quite like it when my horse is all clipped out, coming in on a cold evening to supper having tucked him up with a duvet and rug ontop...

i like indoor shows too...oh and no studs!!

Riding in the snow is great fun as long as you have the right equipment, i.g.for the horse snowgrips and studs and for yourself the right type of clothing.
The only downside of winterriding are mainly icy roads, and if you are riding through woodlands, you have to consider the danger of breaking branches or snow falling of the trees, which can easy scare your horse.
I wish everyone happy riding in the snow.
